Letting Go Of God chronicles one woman�s unexpected journey when two Mormon missionaries arrive on her doorstep and inadvertently challenge her way of thinking about religion, God, and the nature of self. The story of a woman�s struggle with faith in our modern, scientific era.

Julia Sweeney was last seen at Ars Nova performing her critically-acclaimed hit, In The Family Way before taking it to the Groundling�s Theatre in Los Angeles. Prior to In the Family Way, Julia had written and performed in God Said, Ha! at the Lyceum Theatre on Broadway.

Writer, performer, thinker, Julia appeared as a �Saturday Night Live� cast member for four seasons. During that time, she introduced and popularized the beloved gender-neutral character �Pat.�
