Letters to the End of the World at Theatre Row



At Hand Theatre Company presents Letters to the End of the World, written and directed by Anton Dudley, opening at Theatre Row's Studio Theatr on 2 May 2010, following previews from 29 Apr and running through to 16 May 2010.

Letters to the End of the World: Todd is a twenty-something gay man in New York City. After reading an article in a fashion magazine, Todd begins writing letters to a woman in Zambia at the forefront of the African AIDS crisis. Much to the dismay of his boyfriend, what starts as a pen pal relationship turns into an unexpected friendship that takes Todd halfway around the world. He soon discovers that Africa is much closer to his heart than he thinks.

The cast features Shannon Burkett, Francesca Choy-Kee, Tyrone Mitchell Henderson, Peter O'Connor, Charles Socarides.

Set design is by Eli Kaplan-Wildmann, costumes by Nicole Wee and lighting by Ryan Bauer.
