King Kong at the Red Room


The Radio Theatre presents King Kong, adapted by Dan Bianchi, by exclusive permission of the Merian C.Cooper Estate, at the Red Room from 24 May - 10 Jun 2007.

Presented as a radio play, King Kong: From the streets of Depression Era New York City to the high seas of the Far East to the prehistoric jungles of Skull Island! The mighty Kong is captured and brought back to civilization where he escapes from his chains to wreak havoc upon NYC! All for the love of a woman!

Directed by Dan Bianchi, King Kong features Patrick O'Connor (Narrator), Karyn Plonsky (Ann Darrow), Tom Lacey (Carl Denham), Mark Vance (Jack), Cash Tilton (Skipper) and Patrick Flynne (Radio Announcer/Collins/Chief).
