Keen Company has announced complete casting for its upcoming production of Boy, written by Anna Ziegler and directed by Linsay Firman, which begins previews at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre on 23 February 2016, before an official opening on 10 March and a limited run through to 9 April 2016.

The cast of Boy includes Bobby Steggert, Heidi Armbruster, Paul Niebanck, and Rebecca Rittenhouse.

Synopsis: "Inspired by a true story, Boy explores the complicated terrain of trying to find love amidst the confusion of sexual identity and the inextricable bond between a doctor and patient. In the 1960s, a well-intentioned physician convinces the parents of a male infant to raise their son as a girl after a terrible accident during circumcision. Years later, the child, now in his twenties, tries to live anew as a man. A story of the blinding power of love and the complicated mystery of one's perception of self, Boy calls into question the influences that make each of us the person we are meant to be."

The creative team has also been announced and features scenic design by Sandra Goldmark, costume design by Sydney Maresca, lighting design by Nick Francone, sound design by Shane Rettig, and props by Ricola Wille.

Boy is produced off-Broadway by Keen Company and Ensemble Studio Theatre / Alfred P. Sloan Foundation Project.
