Jersey Boys' grosses $1,013,616week ending 16 Apr 2006
The Broadway musical, Jersey Boys, the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, has set a new house record at the August Wilson Theatre, grossing $1,013,616 for the week ending the 16 Apr 2006.
Jersey Boys opened at the August Wilson Theatre on the 6 Nov, following previews from the 4 Oct and is currently booking to the 31 Dec 2006.
The show opened to excellent notices New York Daily News critic, Howard Kissel, wrote "There's no point in beating around the bush � I had a great time."Star-ledger wrote "A hot new Broadway show." newyorktheatreguide.com's reviewer, Polly Wittenberg, wrote it will"become the smash hit it deserves to be."

Jersey Boys is based on the life story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi. The musical chronicles the lives of a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide � all before they were thirty. The cast features Christian Hoff (Tommy DeVito), Daniel Reichard (Bob Gaudio), J. Robert Spencer (Nick Massi) and John Lloyd Young (Frankie Valli).
Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff.
