Jersey Boys: Drew Gehling and Jarrod Spector
Drew Gehling and Jarrod Spector are to return to the Broadway production of the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, Jersey Boys.
Spector returns to the role of 'Frankie Valli' on 2 Oct 2012, following the final performance of Tony winner John Lloyd Young on 30 Sep 2012. Gehling assumes the role of Bob Gaudio joining the previously announced Jeremy Kushnier as 'Tommy DeVito' on 9 Oct 2012, following the departure of current stars Quinn VanAntwerp and Andy Karl (respectively) after the 7 Oct 2012 performance.
Gehling previously played the role of 'Bob Gaudio' in Jersey Boys companies in Las Vegas, San Francisco, Chicago and Broadway. Jeremy Kushnier has played the role of 'Tommy DeVito' in Chicago, Las Vegas and Toronto. Jarrod Spector has played the role of 'Frankie Valli' on Broadway throughout the last four years, having previously appeared in the show on tour and in Chicago.
The current Broadway cast of Jersey Boys is led by Matt Bogart (Nick Massi), Quinn VanAntwerp (Bob Gaudio), Andy Karl (Tommy DeVito) and John Lloyd Young (Frankie Valli) as The Four Seasons; with Peter Gregus (Bob Crewe) and Mark Lotito (Gyp DeCarlo).
The cast also includes Miles Aubrey, Jared Bradshaw, Cara Cooper, Ken Dow, John Edwards, Russell Fischer, Kristofer McNeeley, Katie O'Toole, Joe Payne, Jessica Rush, Dominic Scaglione Jr., Nathan Scherich, Sara Schmidt and Taylor Sternberg.
Jersey Boys is the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons: Frankie Valli, Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito and Nick Massi, about a group of blue-collar boys from the wrong side of the tracks who became one of the biggest American pop music sensations of all time. They wrote their own songs, invented their own sounds and sold 175 million records worldwide - all before they were thirty.
The musical opened on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre on the 6 Nov 2005, following previews from the 4 Oct and is currently booking through to 21 Apr 2013.

Winner of the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, Jersey Boys is written by Marshall Brickman & Rick Elice, with music by Bob Gaudio, lyrics by Bob Crewe, and is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff, choreographed by Sergio Trujillo, with Orchestrations by Steve Orich and Music Direction, Vocal Arrangements and Incidental Music by Ron Melrose.
