Jane Eyre at the 45th Street Theatre



Mergatroyd Productions presents Jane Eyre, N.G. McClernan�s theatrical adaptation of Charlotte Bronte�s classic novel, at the 45th Street Theatre from 14 Feb - 2 Mar 2008.

Jane Eyre, an orphaned young woman, has found herself employed as governess for a ward of the enigmatic Edward Rochester. In spite of the puzzling behavior of Rochester and his staff, Jane falls in love with Rochester, but her growing sense of restlessness persist and the mysteries that enshroud Thornfield Hall, threaten her pursuit of happiness. The strength of her love is tested when the truth is revealed and Jane is forced to choose between love without morality, or morality without love.

Directed by N. G. McClernan, Jane Eyre features Mary Murphy (Jane Eyre), Greg Oliver Bodine (Edward Rochester), Alice Connorton, Bruce Barton, Nat Cassidy and Annalisa Loeffler.

The creative team comprises Reagan Wilson (choreography), Mergatroyd Productions (sets), Viviane Galloway (costumes) and Keith Truax (lighting).
