Jackie Beat: How the Bitch Stole Christmas at The Cutting Room

Jackie Beat returns to off-Broadway for the xmas holidays with her 9th annual xmas show Jackie Beat: How the Bitch Stole Christmas, written and performed by herself, playing at The Cutting Room from 15 - 17 Dec 2006.

The bile-filled Ms. Beat returns to New York to share her latest thoughts on 'the most wonderful time of the year.' The show features the ghosts of Jackie's Holiday Past, including and "Go To Hell," Beat's jaded reworking of "Silver Bells;" a mingling of Hebrew tradition with Elvis Presley in "Jew Christmas;" the Britney Spears-influenced "Oops!... Its Christmas Again," and a few new songs.

The evening is completed with her own delightfully twisted take on the Dr. Seuss classic (casting herself as the meanie with a fiendish plan to steal Christmas from the holiday-loving gays of Chelsea).
