Jack’s Precious Moment to star Eddie Kaye Thomas

59E59 Theaters have announced that American Pie's Eddie Kaye Thomas will lead the cast of Samuel D. Hunter's Jack's Precious Moment, opening at 59E59's Theater C on 26 May 2010, following previews from 21 May ad running through to 13 Jun 2010. The play is presented as part of 59e59's Americas Off Broadway festival.

A video of insurgents beheading Jack Lewis is released over the Internet. Back home in Idaho, Jack's twin (Eddie Kaye Thomas), father and widow are left to pick up the pieces -- so to speak. The only solution to this Christian family's grief and mounting spiritual crisis: The Precious Moments Chapel in Carthage, MO.

Thomas, whose stage work includes the Off-Broadway production of 'Dog Sees God,' 'Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead,' as well as the Broadway production of 'The Dairy of Anne Frank' (with Natalie Portman), currently stars in the HBO series 'How to Make It In America'.

Joining Thomas in the cast of Jack's Precious Moment, directed by Kip Fagan, are Tom Bloom, Lucas Papaelias and Karen Walsh.

Jack's Precious Moment is produced by Page 73 Productions.
