Is Life Worth Living? extends its run by one week
The Mint Theater Company have announced that their revival of Lennox Robinson's Is Life Worth Living?, directed Jonathan Bank, will extend its run by one week, and will now play through to 18 Oct 2009.
Is Life Worth Living? opened at the Mint Theater on 14 Sep 2009, following previews from 19 Aug and was orginally scheduled to close on 11 Oct 2009.
Is Life Worth Living? is a goofy comedy that imagines the impact a steady diet of serious drama might have on the amiable residents of the seaside town of Inish.
The show opened to mixed, but mostly good reviews: "a cunning piece of fluff that is deceptive in appearance" (newyorktheatreguide); "a dutifully earnest production" (NY Times); "keeps a smile on your face" (Back Stage); "the Mint Theater have unearthed yet another forgotten gem" (Variety) .
Is Life Worth Living? stars Jordan Baker, Kevin Kilner, Leah Curney, Bairbre Dowling, Brian Keane, John Keating, Laurie Kennedy, Jeremy Lawrence, Erin Moon, Grant Neale, Paul OBrien and Graham Outerbridge.
The creative team features Richard Hoover (sets), Gabriel Berry (costumes), David Lander (lighting) and David Robbins (sound).
