Her Majesty the King at the HERE Arts Center

Dramahaus presents Her Majesty the King, by Sarah Overman, opening at the Hudson Guild Theatre on 12 Jun 2006, following previews from 10 Jun and running through to the 1 Jul 2006.

Her Majesty the King: Brought to England from France in 1445 as the child bride of England's feeble Henry VI, Margaret of Anjou finds herself alone in a covetous court bent on usurping her throne. How will she survive an attack on her homeland, her family and her good name? She'll fight back, of course - and earn her reputation as England's 'Brutal Queen'.

Directed by Patrick McNulty, Her Majesty the King features Diana LaMar, Lisa McCormick, Antonia Fairchild, Michael Keyloun, Mimi Cozzens, Jason Kolotouros, Baylen Thomas and Justin Adams.

Set design is by Lauren Helpern, with costumes by Katherine Hampton Noland, lighting by Joel Moritz and sound by Jason Atkinson.
