Happy Hour: Atlantic announces complete cast

Atlantic Theater Company has announced the full cast for its world premiere production of Ethan Coen's Happy Hour, directed by Neil Pepe, opening at the Peter Norton Space on the 5 Dec 2011, following previews from 16 Nov, and running through to 31 Dec 2011.

The ensemble cast will feature Cassie Beck, Aya Cash, Clark Gregg, Susan Hyon, Rock Kohli, Gordon MacDonald, Amanda Quaid, Ana Reeder, Joey Slotnick and Lenny Venito.

Academy Award winner Ethan Coen returns to Atlantic with the world premiere of three one-act comedies, following his productions 'Almost an Evening' and 'Offices.' In Happy Hour, an embittered barfly has a theory—or two—about what the world has become. A lonely young man and lonely young woman can't see how right they are for each other. His motel room is so ugly a business traveler wants to end it all. Your life could be worse—and these three one-act comedies show you how.

The design team for Happy Hour will feature scenic design by Riccardo Hernandez, costume design by Sarah Edwards, lighting design by Jason Lyons and sound design by David Van Tieghem.
