Trick or Treat, folks! May we take this opportunity to wish all our readers a scarily Happy Halloween! And if you haven't yet made plans for tonight's festivities yet and feel like splashing out and celebrating everything that goes bump in the night, I can heartily recommend the latest installment in New York City's Supercinema... INFERNO!

Over in the UK, Secret Cinema has established a formidable reputation for its high production value presentations, enticing thousands upon thousands of film fans to get dressed up and be immersed in a theatrical world, inspired by the film of choice, at a secret location in the London area. Iconic scenes are acted out in front of your very eyes and interaction with the actors is strongly encouraged. Hit productions over the years have included Dirty Dancing, Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Ghostbusters, Back to the Future, and Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, just to name a few.

Here on the other side of the pond, whilst not to the same scale as their British counterparts, Supercinema has taken over The McKittrick Hotel in Manhattan and has grown rapidly in popularity, immersing guests in party environments with live performances and surprises. Recent successes have included events based on popular films such as Baz Luhrmann's Romeo + Juliet, James Bond, Alice in Wonderland, The Great Gatsby, The Wizard of Oz, and the murder mystery boardgame Clue.

On Friday and Saturday night, the company staged Inferno to timely honour Universal Pictures' Classic Movie Monsters, with the black and white movies being projected all over the McKittrick Hotel's heavily themed rooms. The final event is tonight. Tickets are pricey, but include an open bar all night. Click HERE for more infomation.

Take a walk through the graveyard, explore all the ghoulishly decorated rooms and enjoy the live performances in the basement.
