Grown Ups at 45th Street Theatre

The Roundtable Ensemble presents the comedy Grown Ups, by Jules Feiffer, at 45th Street Theatre from the 12 Jan - 4 Feb 2006.

Grown Ups: In Jakes family, everyone speaks, but no one hears. It is a transgenerational battle for recognition and validation. Jake, a frustrated writer, struggles to set boundaries between his family and his invasive parents, save a floundering marriage, and protect his daughter from the emotionally isolated childhood he experienced. In a family where antagonistic behavior is the basic unit of affection, where emotional fragility keeps everyone at extremes, and where avoidance is the coping mechanism of choice - can anyone feel loved?

Grown Ups's cast, directed by Frank Blake, features: David Berent (Jake), Kelly Ann Moore (Louise), Lawrence Frank (Jack), Joy Keaton (Helen), Kate Tellers (Marilyn) and Cai Tanikawa Oglesby (Edie).

The production has set and lighting design by Nick Francone, costumes by Liam O'Brien, with Original music and sound design by Matt Stine.
