Good Person of Szechwan extends by two weeks

The Public Theater have extended their presentation of The Foundry Theatre's production of Bertolt Brecht's Good Person of Szechwan, by two weeks. The show will now run through to 08 Dec 2013.

Good Person of Szechwan opened at the Public's Martinson Theater on 29 Oct 2013, following previews from 18 Oct 2013, and was originally scheduled to close on 24 Nov 2013.

In Good Person of Szechwan Shen Tei (Taylor Mac), a good-hearted, penniless, cross-dressing prostitute, is forced to disguise herself as a savvy businessman named Shui Ta to master the ruthlessness necessary to be a 'good person' in a cruel world of limited resources.

Mrs. Yang), Taylor Mac (Shen Tei), Mary Shultz (God #3), David Turner (Wang, Waiter) and Darryl Winslow (Unemployed Man, Carpenter, Policeman).
