Going Down Swingin' at TBG Theatre

Beth Morrison Projects & New Sounds Theatre presents Going Down Swingin', a musical comedy with book and lyrics by Matt Boresi, music by Peter Hilliard, at TBG Theatre from 24 Sep - 6 Oct 2007, as part of the New York Musical Theater Festival.

Going Down Swingin': It's 1956, and caddish crooner Dean Newhouse's once-successful radio variety show is facing a dangerous new foe...Television. As Dean struggles to keep his show afloat, his bitter and double-crossed cast plots his come-uppance.

Directed by Hilary Adams, Going Down Swingin' features Stacie Bono, Tom Deckman, George McDaniel, Meredith Patterson, Hardy Rawls, Marla Schaffel, Christopher Shyer and James Stovall.

The design team comprises Maiko Chii (sets), Kate Cusack and Zane Pihlstrom (costumes), Burke Brown (lighting) and Amy Altadonna (sound).
