It is performed by JoAnna Rush and directed by Walter Willison. A Rockette's Tail tells the story of Bernadette O'Connell, who dreams of becoming a Saint but instead becomes a Rockette, whereupon she is raped and pillaged, and just at the point of being martyred in a yellow Caprice on Sunset Boulevard, undergoes a miraculous transformation from victim to survivor! Playwright and actress JoAnna Rush's New York stage appearances include The Jewish Repertory Theatre's "Minnie's Boys": "In Concert" and "Two by Two": The Richard Rodgers' Centenniel Concert, "Grandma Sylvia's Funeral", "Daughters", "Inside Out", "Broadway Scandals of 1928", and on Broadway in "Shirley MacLaine" at the Palace, "Pousse Cafe" and as Sheila in "A Chorus Line".
