Facing East tells the story of Ruth and Alex McCormick, an upstanding Mormon couple who are reeling from the suicide of their gay son. Stuck between their faith and their new reality, they encounter their son's partner, Marcus, for the first time.

Directed by Jerry Rapier, Facing East features Charles Lynn Frost, Jayne Luke and Jay Perry.

Set design by Randy Rasmussen, with costumes by Jerry Rapier, lighting by Cory Thorell and sound by Cheryl Ann Cluff.

Facing East enjoyed a sold-out run in November 2006 in Salt Lake City, Utah, where it will run again from 19 Apr - 6 May 2007 before transferring off-Broadway. The entire Utah cast and production team will remain intact. Following the off-Broadway run, Facing East will play San Francisco for three weeks in August.

Plan-B Theatre Company is the first Utah-based theatre company to transfer a production off-Broadway.
