Ernest in Love extends by two weeks The Irish Repertory Theatre revival of Ernest In Love, book and Lyrics by Anne Croswell, music by Lee Pockriss, extends its run by two weeks and will now play through to 14 Feb 2010. The musical opened at the Irish Repertory Theatre on 20 Dec 2009, following previews from 12 Dec and was originally scheduled to close on 31 Jan 2010. Ernest In Love is a musical adaptation of Oscar Wilde's comedy 'The Importance Of Being Ernest' and tells a story of social hypocrisy among the crème de la crème of Victorian England. Directed by Charlotte Moore and choreographed by Barry McNabb, Ernest In Love stars two-time Tony nominee Beth Fowler (The Boy From Oz, Sweeney Todd) as Lady Augusta Bracknell, and also features Annika Boras, Brad Bradley, Kerry Conte, Katie Fable, Kristin Griffith, Ian Holcomb, Peter Maloney and Noah Racey. The creative team features sets by James Morgan, costumes by Linda Fisher and lighting by Brian Nason.
