Dan Lauria will star in his self-penned 'killer' comedy Dinner With The Boys, directed by Frank Megna, which will begin previews at Theatre Row's Acorn Theatre on 21 April 2015, before an official opening on 4 May 2015. The play is booking through to 5 July 2015.

Synopsis: "Dinner With The Boys is a comedy about two wise guys from the old neighborhood who find themselves at odds with the family and must serve up perfectly seasoned results with their puttanesca in order to escape danger themselves. As they await their own fate in 'the wilds of New Jersey,' this Italian odd couple reflects on their days of glory while preparing dinner for special guests, all the while wondering, 'will this meal be their last supper?'"

Joining Dan Lauria on stage will be Ray Abruzzo and Richard Zavaglia.

Dinner With The Boys features scenic design by Jessica Parks, costumes by Patricia E. Doherty, lighting by Jill Nagle, and sound design by Matt Kraus. It is produced off-Broadway by Pat Addiss and Dinner Boys LLC.

Dinner With The Boys premiered at The New Jersey Rep in Long Branch.

Dan Lauria is perhaps best known for his Broadway appearances in 'Lombardi' and 'A Christmas Story,' as well as his TV roles on 'The Wonder Years' and 'Sullivan & Son.' His film credits include 'Stakeout,' 'Another Stakeout,' and 'Independence Day.'

Ray Abruzzo is best known for his TV role as Little Carmine in HBO's 'The Sopranos.'

Richard Zavaglia has appeared on Broadway in 'Chapter Two' and 'Passione,' and in the film 'Donnie Brasco.'
