Crossing Brooklyn: cast announced

The Transport Group have announced the cast and creative team for their production of Crossing Brooklyn, music by Jenny Giering, book and lyrics by Laura Harrington, opening at the Connelly Theater on 28 Oct 2007, following previews from 19 Oct and running through to 18 Nov 2007.

Directed by Jack Cummings III and choreographed by Scott Rink, Crossing Brooklyn features J. Bradley Bowers, Jenny Fellner, Blythe Gruda, Susan Lehman, Bryce Ryness, Clayton Dean Smith, Ken Triwush, Kate Weiman and Jason F. Williams.

Crossing Brooklyn: Tells the story of Des and AJ, a young, idealistic couple�both public school teachers bent on changing the world, one kid at a time. Life is full of promise and endless possibility until Des begins to unravel under the weight of her fears, ignited from that fateful September day. Splitting apart from the pressure, they struggle to find their way back to each other. The lessons they learn, through the children they meet, change them forever.

The creative team comprises Sandra Goldmark (sets), Sandra Goldmark (costumes), Graham Kindred (lighting) and Michael Rasbury (sound).
