The books have sold over 45 million copies worldwide and have also landed two Hollywood movie adaptations - "The Lightning Thief" (2010) and "The Sea of Monsters" (2013).
Chris McCarrell was recently seen as Marius in the latest Broadway revival of 'Les Misérables.' Other theatre credits include 'Summer of '42,' 'Next to Normal,' 'Sweeney Todd,' and 'Pippin.' He has also appeared on TV's "The OA" and as Nibs in "Peter Pan Live."
