Wed 27 Aug 03 "Cabaret" to close 2 Nov 03 at Studio 54 Cabaret has posted closing notices at Studio 54 after a run of nearly 6 years. The last performance will be on 2 Nov 2003. This Donmar Warehouse production was presented by Roundabout Theater Company at Studio 54 from 13 Feb 1998. The show has music by John Kander, lyrics by Fred Ebb and book by Joe Masteroff. It is directed by Sam Mendes and choreographed by Rob Marshall. Cabaret, the Tony Award-winning revival, tells the story of an English woman's romance with an American writer set against the background of the crumbling Germany at the start of the Third Reich.
