Broadway's Honeymoon In Vegas to close on 5 April 2015
Jason Robert Brown's musical comedy Honeymoon In Vegas, which opened at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre on 15 January 2015, following previews from 18 November 2014, has now posted its early closure notice. The production will play its final performance on 5 April 2015, having struggled for months at the box office despite positive reviews.
Based on the 1992 Castle Rock Entertainment Motion Picture of the same name, Honeymoon In Vegas features a book by Andrew Bergman and music and lyrics by three-time Tony Award-winner Jason Robert Brown, and is directed by Gary Griffin and choreographed by Denis Jones.
The musical tells the story of "Jack Singer (Rob McClure), a regular guy with an extraordinary fear of marriage, who finally gets up the nerve to ask his girlfriend Betsy (Brynn O'Malley) to marry him. But when they head to Las Vegas to get hitched, smooth talking gambler Tommy Korman (Tony Danza), looking for a second chance at love, falls head over heels for Betsy. What happens next is anybody's bet!"

Lee, George Merrick, Jessica Naimy, Zachary Prince, Catherine Ricafort, Jonalyn Saxer, Brendon Stimson, Erica Sweany, Cary Tedder and Katie Webber.
The creative team behind Honeymoon in Vegas features scenic design by Anna Louizos, costumes by Emmy Award winner Brian C. Hemesath, lighting by Tony Award winner Howell Binkley, sound design by Tony Award winner Scott Lehrer & Drew Levy, hair and wig design by Charles G. LaPointe, and props by Kathy Fabian/Propstar. Music direction is by Tom Murray, with orchestrations by Tony and Grammy Award winner Don Sebesky, Larry Blank, Jason Robert Brown, and Charlie Rosen.
