Boomerang IN REP at Center Stage


The Boomerang Theatre Company will present its 9th season of Boomerang IN REP, this year�s IN REP features three full productions running in repertoire at Center Stage from 6 - 30 Sep 2007.

This years selections include Stoppard Goes Electric , three short plays by Tom Stoppard never seen in NYC, they will be directed by Rachel Wood, Tim Errickson, and Christopher Thomasson, J.B. Priestley's, Dangerous Corner will be directed by Philip Emeott and the world premiere of Larry Kirwan's The Heart has a Mind of its Own, and will be directed by Cailin Heffernan.



  • Stoppard Goes Electric
    Three short plays by Tom Stoppard
    A Separate Peace, directed by Rachel Wood
    Teeth, directed by Tim Errickson
    Another Moon Called Earth, directed by Christopher Thomasson

    Cast: Richard Brundage, Mac Brydon, Bill Green, Shauna Kelly, Kate Ross, Sara Thigpen and Christopher Yeatts.





  • Dangerous Corner
    playwright: J.B Priestley
    Director: Philip Emeott
    Synopsis: A publisher�s dinner party takes a sharp turn and becomes a private inquest into his brother�s mysterious death.
    Cast: Anthony Bertram, Catherine McNelis, David Nelson, Karen Sternberg, Barbara Drum Sullivan, Chris Thorn and Jaime West.





  • The Heart has a Mind of its Own
    playwright: Larry Kirwan
    Director: Cailin Heffernan
    Synopsis: Lieutenant Brian Murphy, NYPD, died when the Towers fell that morning. Three years later truth and memory blur as his family continues to struggle with their grief and rage. Though their hero's shadow still looms large, it cannot obscure certain inconsistencies that force the family to come to terms with the enigma of Brian.
    Cast: Connie Barron, Kevin Collins, Doc Dougherty and Aurora Nessly.




The design team, for all three productions, comprises Joe Powell (sets), Cheryl McCarron (costumes) and Melanie Smock (lighting).
