Beyond Glory at the Laura Pels Theatre


Roundabout Theatre Company presents Beyond Glory: Medal of Honor Heroes in Their Own Words, written and performed by Stephen Lang, directed by Directed by Robert Falls, opening at the Laura Pels Theatre on 21 Jun 2007, following previews from 25 May and running through to 19 Aug 2007.

The play replaces the Roundabout Theatre Company's planned run of Brian Friel's The Home Place.

Beyond Glory: Medal of Honor Heroes in Their Own Words: Presents the stories of eight veterans from World War II, Korea, and Vietnam, rendering first hand accounts of the actions which resulted in each of them receiving the nation�s highest military award, the Medal of Honor.The play gathers these men together in the present to look back on the defining moments of their lives and to examine the meaning of courage, duty and, ultimately, humility.

Set design by Tony Cisek , with costumes by David Woolard, lighting by Dan Covey and sound by Cecil Averett.
