Better Living at the Gloria Maddox Theatre

George F. Walker's dark comedy, Better Living, opens at the Gloria Maddox Theatre at T. Schreiber Studio on the 1 Jun 2006, following previews from the 25 May and running through to the 24 Jun 2006.

Better Living is about a family faced with the return of their abusive patriarch ten years after they tried to kill him. The three daughters find idiosyncratic ways to deal with their dysfunctional parents. The mother�s out-of-the-ordinary ideas include taking a jackhammer to the basement floor to build a cavern where the family can live better. The father, an ex-cop, commandeers his wife's project putting the whole family into survivalist mode.

The cast for Better Living, directed by Tony Glazer, features Anne Hammond, Jim Cyborowski, Emily Sproch, Jennifer McGuire, Summer Crockett Moore, Luis A. de Amechazurra and Jonathan Zungre.

Better Living has set design by Hal Tiné, costumes by Meredith Neal, lighting by Nick Kolin and sound by Andrew Eisele.
