Berkshire Theatre Group’s Fiorello! Transfers
The Berkshire Theatre Group's production of the Pulitzer and Tony Award-winning musical Fiorello! will transfer to The East 13th Street Theater off-Broadway, running from 2 September to 6 October 2016.
The production will continue its sold-out run at The Unicorn Theatre in Stockbridge, MA, where it is running until 23 July. Directed by Bob Moss, it features choreography by Michael Callahan and music direction by Evan Zavada.
Described as "a big-hearted look at Mayor LaGuardia and his battle for the people of New York City", this 1959 musical features music and lyrics by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick and book by George Abbott and Jerome Weidman.
The Pulitzer Prize winning musical has previously been revived by Encores! at the New York City Center in February 1994. It was later revisited to celebrate the 20th season of the series with another concert revival in January 2013.
