Austin Colby joins the cast of Jersey Boys at New World Stages

​Austin Colby assumes the role of Bob Gaudio in the smash hit musical about Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons.

Austin Colby can definitely Walk Like a Man now! He has just joined the cast of Jersey Boys at off-Broadway's New World Stages, assuming the role of Bob Gaudio. His previous stage credits include touring with casts of The Sound of Music and West Side Story, where he played Tony.

The Jersey Boys quartet is completed by Aaron De Jesus (as Frankie Valli), Mark Edwards (as Nick Massi) and Sam Wolf (as Tommy DeVito). The full cast also includes Dianna Barger, Stephen Cerf, Amanda Dela Cruz, Andrew Frace, Natalie Gallo, Austin Owen, John Rochette, Paul Sabala, Dru Serkes and Joshua Charles Skurnik.

The Broadway musical Jersey Boys opened at the August Wilson Theatre on November 6, 2005, closing on January 15, 2017. It later returned to New York, opening at the New World Stages on November 22, 2017.

The show features music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice.

Synopsis: "They were just four guys from Jersey, until they sang their very first note. They had a sound nobody had ever heard... and the radio just couldn't get enough of. But while their harmonies were perfect on stage, off stage it was a very different story -- a story that has made them an international sensation all over again".

Jersey Boys is directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff and choreographed by Tony Award nominee Sergio Trujillo. The production includes music supervision, vocal/dance arrangements & incidental music by Ron Melrose and orchestrations by Steve Orich.

The creative team also features scenic design by Klara Zieglerova, costume design by Jess Goldstein, lighting design by Howell Binkley, sound design by Steve Canyon Kennedy, and projection design by Michael Clark. John Miller serves as the music co-ordinator for the production.  

Jersey Boys is produced off-Broadway by Dodger Theatricals, Joseph J. Grano, Kevin Kinsella, Pelican Group, Latitude Link, and Tommy Mottola. 

Jersey Boys Tickets are available now for performances through to July 7, 2019.
