August: Osage County: Estelle Parsons and Molly Regan to join cast


Academy Award winner Estelle Parsons and Steppenwolf actress Molly Regan are to join the cast of Tracy Letts' comic-drama August: Osage County, winner of the 2008 Pulitzer Prize for Drama from 17 Jun 2008.

Parsons assumes the role of Violet Weston from original cast member Deanna Dunagan who plays her final performance on 15 Jun 2008.

Parsons' as either starred in or directed over 25 Broadway productions. Most notably, she has been nominated for Tony Awards for her performances in 'The Seven Descents of Myrtle' (1968), 'And Miss Reardon Drinks a Little' (1971), 'Miss Margarida�s Way' (1977) and 'Mornings at Seven.' (2002 revival).

Parsons' films include: 'Bonnie and Clyde'
