The Atlantic Theater Company has announced a 1-week extension for its current world premiere production of Tell Hector I Miss Him, written by Paola Lázaro, which began previews at Atlantic Stage 2 on January 11, 2017. An official opening is scheduled for January 23, with a limited engagement now through to February 19, 2017.

Synopsis: "You're in Puerto Rico. Old San Juan. You're a tourist, you walk down the stairs of this beautiful old fort built by the Spaniards. When you reach the bottom, you realize you're in the hole, a slum. Welcome to La Perla, the barrio and the underbelly that lies under the tourism and behind the fort walls. You spend some days there, you don't want to leave. Oh no, you're addicted to the beauty, the women and the drugs. A raw and compelling play about searching for first love, found family, and hope."

The cast of Tell Hector I Miss Him includes Victor Almanzar (Jeison), Sean Carvajal (Palito), Alexander Flores (Tono), Yadira Guevara-Prip (Isis), Juan Carlos Hernández (Mostro), Selenis Leyva (Samira), Talene Monahon (La Gata), Flaco Navaja (Hugo), Dascha Polanco (Malena), Lisa Ramirez (Mami), Luis Vega (El Mago) and Analisa veleZ (Tati).

The creative behind Tell Hector I Miss Him features scenic design by Clint Ramos, costume design by Dede Ayite, lighting design by Eric Southern and sound design by Jesse Mandapat.
