Tue 18 Nov 2003 "Assassins" by Stephen Sondheim at Studio 54 from 19 Mar 2004 It is now confirmed that The Roundabout Theatre Company will present Assassins, at Studio 54, opening 22 April 2004, following previews from 19 March 2004. Public booking opens 23 Feb 04! Directed by Joe Mantello with music direction by Paul Gemignani, the show will feature Neil Patrick Harris as The Balladeer & Lee Harvey Oswald. (The rest of the cast is to be confirmed!). It has music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim & book by John Weidman. Assassins explores the history of presidential assassination in America, from John Wilkes Booth to John Hinckley, Jr.
