Arabian Night at East 13th Street Theater


The Play Company presents the New York premiere of Arabian Night, written by Roland Schimmelpfennig and translated from the German by David Tushingham, opening at the East 13th Street Theater on the 12 Jun 2006, following previews from the 31 May and running through to the 1 Jul 2006.

Arabian Night: This nocturnal adventure, set in an anonymous housing complex, is part fairy tale, part noir thriller and part nightmare. It tells the story of five people whose destinies become inextricably intertwined on a hot summer night. When the building�s water supply mysteriously disappears, they are all drawn to the apartment of a sleeping beauty, where they meet their fate.

The cast for Arabian Night, directed by Trip Cullman, features Roxanna Hope, Piter Marek, Brandon Miller, Stelio Savant and Jicky Schnee.

The production has set design by Louisa Thompson, costumes by Katherine Roth, lighting by Lenore Doxsee and sound by Bart Fasbender.
