Annapurna to star Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman

The New Group will present the New York premiere of Sharr White's Annapurna, directed by Bart DeLorenzo, playing at 59E59's Theater A from 13 Apr 2014 through to 01 Jun 2014, opening date still to be announced.

The production stars real life married couple Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman, who will reprise the roles they first created when the drama played at the Odyssey Theatre in Los Angeles in April 2013, which was also directed by Bart DeLorenzo.

Annapurna: Twenty years ago, Emma (Megan Mullally) walked out on her husband, cowboy-poet Ulysses (Nick Offerman), in the middle of the night. Now hearing he's in dire straits, she tracks him down in the wilds of Colorado in a grungy trailer, working on his magnum opus, hooked to an oxygen tank, and cooking in the buff. Their reunion brings back the best and worst of their former bond.
