'All Shook Up' to close on Broadway on the 25 Sep 2005


It has been announced that All Shook Up, the new musical featuring Elvis Presley songs, will close at the Palace Theatre on the 25 Sep 2005. The production will have played 33 previews and 213 regular performances.

The producers of All Shook Up have announced that it will play its final performance on the 25 Sep 2005, at Broadway's Palace Theatre. With a cast of 30, the musical stars Cheyenne Jackson, Jenn Gambatese, Jonathan Hadary, Leah Hocking, Curtis Holbrook, Nikki M. James, John Jellison, Alix Korey, Mark Price and Sharon Wilkins, and will have played 33 preview and 213 regular performances.

All Shook Up has a book by Joe DiPietro, is choreographed by Ken Roberson with additional choreography by Sergio Trujillo, and is directed by Chrisopher Ashley.

All Shook Up is a new musical comedy that tells the story of a small town girl (Gambatese) who dreams of hitting the open road, and the guitar-playing stranger (Jackson) who brings romance, rebellion and rock 'n' roll into her life.

All Shook Up features such Elvis Presley classics as "Heartbreak Hotel," "Burning Love," "Love Me Tender," "Can't Help Falling in Love," "Jailhouse Rock," "Blue Suede Shoes," "A Little Less Conversation," "Hound Dog," "Don't Be Cruel," and of course, "All Shook Up."

All Shook Up is produced by Jonathan Pollard, Bernie Kukoff, Harbor Entertainment, Bob & Harvey Weinstein, Stanley Buchthal, Eric Falkenstein, Nina Essman/Nancy Nagel Gibbs, Jean Cheever and Margaret Cotter in association with Barney Rosenzweig, Meri Krassner, FGRW Investments, Karen Jason, and Phil Ciasullo Conard.
