All About Me: Michael Feinstein coming back to Broadway in a new musical production

After almost two decades, Michael Feinstein will be coming back to Broadway in a new musical production tentatively titled All About Me.

Feinstein is collaborating with playwright and screenwriter Peter Ackerman ('The Pajama Game,' 'Ice Age,' 'Things You Shouldnt Say Past Midnight') to devise this entertainment production.

Performances for this limited run engagement are scheduled to begin mid-February at a Shubert Theatre to be announced.

All About Me will feature a small orchestra accompanying Feinstein as he performs the standards for which he is known plus songs he has not yet performed on Broadway.

Feinstein last appeared on Broadway in 1990 in 'Michael Feinstein in Concert: Piano and Voice' and performed on Broadway in 1988 in both 'Michael Feinstein in Concert: Isnt It Romantic' and in 'Michael Feinstein in Concert.'

The design team will be announced shortly.

Feinstein released his first album 'Pure Gershwin' in 1986, and has since gone on to release many more albums of American standards, such as 'Remember,' 'Over There,' 'Nice Work if You Can Get It,' 'Michael and George.' Feinstein recently completed a six-part Warner Home Video series for television that depicts the history of the American popular song up to 1960.

All About Me will be produced by Jeffrey Richards and Jerry Frankel.
