A Hard Heart, extends for one week

Epic Theatre Ensemble presentation of Howard Barker's A Hard Heart, extends its run by one week, the play is now running through to 9 Dec 2007.

A Hard Heart opened at Theatre Row's Clurman Theatre on 11 Nov 2007, following previews from 30 Oct, for a run that was originally scheduled to end on 2 Dec 2007.

A Hard Heart: Exploring the ways we protect our political and human borders. Barker�s prophetic drama imagines a country facing invasion. �Praxis� the Queen enlists the Genius �Riddler� to devise a strategy to protect their threatened culture, but is the sacrifice too much?

Directed by Will Pomerantz, A Hard Heart features Kathleen Chalfant as the 'Riddler', Melissa Friedman as 'Praxis', Dion Graham as 'Plevna', Alex Organ as 'Sentry', Thom Sesma as 'Seemore', James Wallert as 'Atilla' and Sarah Winkler as the 'Woman'.

The creative team comprises Narelle Sissons (sets), Chris Rumery (costumes), Lenore Doxsee (lighting) and Mark Huang (sound).
