Glynis Henderson Productions and Martian Entertainment presents the New York premiere of Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange, directed by Alexandra Spencer-Jones, which will play a limited 16-week engagement at off-Broadway's New World Stages. Previews begin on September 2, 2017, before an official opening on September 25 and a closing date of January 6, 2018.

The production enjoyed a critically-acclaimed run at London's Park Theatre in February of this year and was previously seen at the Soho Theatre in 2012. London star Jonno Davies will make his NY stage debut and reprise his role of Alex De-Large for the off-Broadway production. He is perhaps best known for his role as Lee in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" and also appeared in the West End production of 'Shakespeare in Love.'

Synopsis: "A Clockwork Orange lures audiences into a glass-edged, testosterone-filled underworld of a dystopian future. The explosive story of little Alex and his rebellious gang of Droogs is a ground-breaking classic of orgiastic ultra-violence and sexuality. As hauntingly relevant today as when Burgess' book first published in 1962, and when Stanley Kubrick's ground-breaking film caused a stir in 1971, A Clockwork Orange is an unapologetic celebration of the human condition."

Additional casting and creative team information for A Clockwork Orange will be announced at a later date.
