29th Lucille Lortel Awards: Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman to host



The Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway have announced the co-hosts of this year's Ceremony, real-life husband and wife actors and comedians Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman. The Awards reception will be held on 04 May 2014 at the NYU Skirball Center.

The Off-Broadway League have announced that this year the awards will include an addition of four acting categories, which will now honor performers in plays and musicals with separate awards, and theater producer Robyn Goodman will be presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The 2013-2014 off-Broadway season ends on 31 Mar 2014, and nominations for the awards will be announced on 01 Apr 2014.

Members of the general public are again welcome to view the ceremony. Public tickets will cost $75 and will be available from Apr 2014.

Megan Mullally and Nick Offerman are to appear on-stage this spring in The New Group's Off-Broadway production of 'Annapurna' by Sharr White, directed by Bart DeLorenzo.

Mullally is best known for her TV work starring as "Karen" on the sitcom "Will & Grace" for which she won two Prime Time Emmy Awards. She has appeared on Broadway in 'Young Frankenstein,' 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' and 'Grease.'

Nick Offerman is best known for his role as "Ron Swanson" in the sitcom TV series "Parks and Recreation."
