2005 Tony Award nominations to be announced on the 10 May 2005

The 2005 Tony award nominations will be announced at the Marriott Marquis Hotel on Tue 10 May at 8:30am.

Alan Cumming, Lynn Redgrave, Kate Burton, and Brian Stokes Mitchell will read the list of artists and productions recognised in the 25 competitive Tony categories.

Alan Cumming (Winner: Cabaret). Lynn Redgrave (Nominated: Mrs. Warren's Profession, Shakespeare for My Father). Brian Stokes Mitchell (winner: Kiss Me, Kate, Nominated: Man of La Mancha, Ragtime, King Hedley II), Kate Burton (Nominated: Hedda Gabler, The Elephant Man).

The 2005 Awards will be held at Radio City Music Hall on Sun 5 Jun. The event will be hosted by TOny Award winner Hugh Jackson

Tickets for the ceremony at Radio City Music Hall go on sale to the general public on Tue 10 May 2005.
