Lucci is best known for her 21-time Emmy-nominated performance as Erica Kane in All My Children, and for finally winning the award in 1999 after her 19th nomination. She played the role for the show's entire run from 1970-2011, during which time TV Guide dubbed her "Daytime's Leading Lady" and one of the 50 Greatest TV Stars of All Time, and The New York Times and the Los Angeles Times named her the highest-paid actor in daytime television.
