Anderson is best known for his lead roles as Andre "Dre" Johnson on Black-ish and NYPD Detective Kevin Bernard on Law & Order. He is also known for hosting the game show reboot To Tell the Truth, the talent show reboot Star Search on Netflix, the Fox game show We Are Family, and the 2024 Emmy Awards.
