Willis and Parker to announce 2015 Tony Nominations

"RED" co-stars Bruce Willis and Mary-Louise Parker will officially announce the 2015 Tony Award Nominations on 28 April 2015 at 8:30am.

Bruce Willis is set to make his Broadway debut this Fall in the stage adaptation of Stephen King's thriller Misery. He won both a Golden Globe and Emmy Award for 'Moonlighting' in 1987. He also received a Golden Globe nomination for 'In Country' in 1990, and won a second Emmy Award for guest starring in 'Friends' in 2000. His movie career includes such box office hits as the 'Die Hard,' 'Sin City,' 'The Expendables,' and 'RED' franchises, along with 'The Sixth Sense,' 'The Fifth Element,' 'Armageddon,' 'G.I. Joe: Retaliation ,' 'Looper,' 'Unbreakable,' 'The Whole Nine Yards,' 'Twelve Monkeys,' and 'Pulp Fiction.'

Mary-Louise Parker won a Tony Award for 'Proof' in 2001 and earned Tony nominations for 'Reckless' in 2005 and for 'Prelude to a Kiss' in 1990. Other Broadway credits include 'The Snow Geese,' 'Hedda Gabler,' and 'Bus Stop.' She will next appear on the New York stage in Simon Stephens' drama Heisenberg. She won Golden Globes for 'Angels in America' and 'Weeds,' and an Emmy Award for 'Angels in America.' Other screen credits include 'RED' and 'RED 2' alongside Bruce Willis, 'The West Wing,' 'The Spiderwick Chronicles,' 'Bullets Over Broadway,' and 'The Client.'

It has been ruled that productions that opened during the 2014-2015 Broadway season on or before the 23 April 2015 cut-off date may be eligible for Tony Awards this year.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards will be broadcast live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on 7 June 2015, and this year's Host will be announced shortly.

The Tony Awards are presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
