The Public Theater has now announced a second extension for its current world premiere of White Noise, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Suzan-Lori Parks, which began previews at the Public's Anspacher Theater on March 5, 2019, ahead of an official opening tonight, March 20. The limited engagement, originally scheduled to close on April 14, was initially extended through to April 21, but will now play its final performance on May 5, 2019.

Synopsis: "White Noise is a story about race, friendship, and our rapidly unraveling social contract. Long-time friends and lovers Leo, Misha, Ralph, and Dawn are educated, progressive, cosmopolitan, and woke. But when a racially motivated incident with the cops leaves Leo shaken, he decides extreme measures must be taken for self-preservation. This fierce new drama asks the question: what happens when the unspoken and the unspeakable come head-to-head?"

The cast of White Noise includes Tony Award winner Daveed Diggs (as Leo), Sheria Irving (as Misha), Tony Award nominee Thomas Sadoski (as Ralph), and Zoë Winters (as Dawn).

Under the helm of the Public's Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, the creative team behind White Noise also features scenic design by Clint Ramos, costume design by Toni-Leslie James, lighting design by Xavier Pierce, sound design by Dan Moses Schreier, and projection design by Lucy Mackinnon.

White Noise Tickets are available now for performances through to May 5, 2019.
