Tuck Everlasting announces principal casting

Principal casting has been announced for the musical adaptation of Natalie Babbitt's best-selling novel Tuck Everlasting, directed and choreographed by Tony winner Casey Nicholaw, which begins previews at the Broadhurst Theatre on 23 March 2016, before an official opening on 17 April 2016.

Cast members include three-time Tony Nominee Carolee Carmello (Mae Tuck), Andrew Keenan-Bolger (Jesse Tuck), two-time Emmy winner Michael Park (Angus Tuck), three-time Tony Nominee Terrence Mann (The Man in the Yellow Suit), Fred Applegate (Constable Joe), Robert Lenzi (Miles Tuck), Michael Wartella (Hugo), Valerie Wright (Betsy Foster), and Sarah Charles Lewis (Winnie Foster).

Additional casting information will be announced at a later date.

Tuck Everlasting features music by Chris Miller, lyrics by Nathan Tysen, and a book by Tony nominee Claudia Shear.

Tuck Everlasting features scenic design by Walt Spangler, costume design by Tony winner Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Tony winner Kenneth Posner, sound design by Tony winner Brian Ronan, orchestrations by John Clancy, and musical supervision by Rob Berman.

The musical is produced on Broadway by Grove Entertainment, Arlene Scanlan & Michael Jackowitz, Howard & Janet Kagan, and Barry Brown.

Natalie Babbitt's novel was first published in 1975 and has since been translated into 27 different languages and sold over four million copies in the United States alone.

Tuck Everlasting staged its world premiere earlier this year in a record-breaking engagement at Atlanta's Alliance Theatre.
