A full trailer for the film adaptation of Jonathan Larson's musical tick, tick...BOOM! has been released. The film stars Tony Award winner Andrew Garfield in the leading role of Jon alongside a cast including Alexandra Shipp, Tony nominee Robin de Jesús, Joshua Henry, Mj Rodriguez, Bradley Whitford, Tariq Trotter, three-time Tony winner Judith Light, and Vanessa Hudgens. Lin-Manuel Miranda directs the film in his feature-length directorial debut.

The musical, an autobiographical account of Larson's own career in the arts, follows aspiring composer Jon, who lives in New York in the 1990s. As he approaches his 30th birthday with few career achievements to his name, he worries that he made the wrong career choice. It premiered off Broadway in 2001 and has been revived off Broadway twice since, in 2014 and 2016.

Alongside the release of trailer, the first single from the film's soundtrack, "30/90," is now available to stream. It is the musical's opening song, in which Jon reminisces on aging and worries about his lack of career progress as he approaches his 30th birthday. The full soundtrack will be available to stream November 12, when tick, tick...BOOM! premieres in select movie theatres. The movie will stream on Netflix beginning November 19.
