The off-Broadway one-man show The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey has extended its limited engagement by two weeks at Westside Theatre Downstairs through to 18 October 2015. Following previews from 9 July 2015, the production officially opened on 27 July.

The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey is written by and stars James Lecesne. It is directed by Tony Speciale and features original music by Duncan Sheik.

A luminous force of nature whose magic is only truly felt once he disappears, Leonard becomes the unexpected inspiration for a town as they question how they live, who they love and what they leave behind."

The Absolute Brightness of Leonard Pelkey features scenic design by Jo Winiarski, lighting design by Matt Richards, sound design by Christian Frederickson, projection design by Aaron Rhyne, and original animation and photography by Matthew Sandager. It is produced off-Broadway by Darren Bagert and Daryl Roth.
