The 56th Outer Critics Circle Awards

Nominations for the 56th Outer Critics Circle Awards will be announced on 23 Apr 2007, with the winners revealed on 14 May 2007. The award ceremony will take place at Sardi's Restaurant on 24 May 2007.

The Outer Critics Circle Awards awards are decided upon by theater critics who review for media outlets outside of New York City.

Tarzan, which opened at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on 10 May 2006, was not eligable to be nominated for the 2006 outer critics circle Awards, as the Outer Critics Circle Comittee could not view the musical before the cut off date for nominations. The musical will therefore be considered for nominations for the 56th Outer Critics Circle Awards.
