When it comes to the much anticipated film adaptation of Lin-Manuel Miranda's hit Broadway musical In the Heights, fans may have to keep practicing a little "Paciencia y Fe" as the movie theater release date was pushed back to June 18, 2021 thanks to the current COVID-19 pandemic. However, we're bringing a Washington Heights-themed #QuaranTune today to lift their spirtis. Alabanza!

"When You're Home," written by Miranda, was first performed on Broadway by original cast members Mandy Gonzalez and Tony Award nominee Christopher Jackson (who originated the roles of Nina and Benny, respectively). In the Heights played the Richard Rodgers Theatre from February 2008 through January 2011, winning four Tony Awards: 'Best Musical,' 'Best Original Score,' 'Best Orchestrations,' and 'Best Choreography.' It was also nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 2009.

Here's Ms. Gonzalez and Mr. Jackson from the original Broadway production...

And just so we can look forward to better times, here's the official trailer for the sure-to-be smash hit movie adaptation...

Nina, everything is easier when you're home. The street's a little kinder when you're home. Can't you see that the day seems clearer, now that you are here...
