New York Theatre Guide at the Opening Night of Slave Play on Broadway

Jeremy O. Harris' acclaimed drama Slave Play is scheduled to play a limited engagement at the Golden Theatre through January 5, 2020.

Last night the New York Theatre Guide was on hand to celebrate Opening Night for one of the most talked-about plays in town. Scribe Jeremy O. Harris took center stage at the Golden Theatre during the curtain call to take a moment and bask in his well-deserved standing ovation for his widely lauded drama Slave Play that has so deeply and vividly intertwined itself with the current Zeitgeist.

Following the final bows, we headed over to the after party at Second on 6th Avenue to talk to the playwright and man of the hour, as well as members of his extraordinarily talented and daring ensemble cast, including Joaquina KalukangoPaul Alexander NolanSullivan JonesChalia La Tour, and Irene Sofia Lucio, to get the lowdown on this exciting and controversial piece of theatre.
